Super random thought:
If all the animals in africa were to suddenly have a war, and some how also increased their intelligence and adapted to use human weapons, who would win the war?
My guess would be that carnivores and herivores would start to fight each other, carnivores wanting to conquer and eat as much possible. However, herbivores woudl be split between the superior territorial animals and super smart ones. Also, herbivores would also begin to questions either groups, as there may be limited sources of “herb”-food during the first.
Monkeys would probably be the smartest and having become snipers, and join with giraffes to make mobile sniper posts. In last case scenarios, giraffes would armour-ize their heads and have a giant mace if they needed. They’d probably be smart ones, but wouldn’t last the longest.
Elephants would have a advantage being big and able to use heavy artillery, however they’re slow and would take a while to learn to use these. They could also armour their tusks for defense. They’d be the territorial kind of heribovores, I’d say they last for a while.
Cheetahs would be the stealthiest carnivores, with super speed, they could use intense stealthy melee skills. They’d be crazy.
Lions arfen’t exactly super fast, so they would be strategists….or something like in the Lion King. The upper class of lions and the grunts.
Wildebeasts come in massive herds, so my guess would be that they’d charge a lot…or they’d just be grunts.
Hippos can be omnivores and could survivefor a bit. They would be the aquaman of this war…and can fling pooaround with their tiny tails.
Meerkats would be a scout based group, however those tiny things would probably survive, but they’re just like pests.
Baboons….LOL
Can’t forget the rhinos. They could have armoured tusks, my guess they would last longer than elephants as they are smaller, and could move faster to all the food sources.
Gorillas would be like the super fighters in the forests. They would use bigger guns, and guerilla tactis. They’d rule the forests.
Crocodiles…if they could together, they could rule the water ways of africa. Ruling over that could be beneficial, however they cannot account for all the smaller pockets of water around, so in major water ways, they could be potential rulers.

So in less than a weeks time, halloween is going to happen. Whether you celebrate it not, this one day in particular stirs up commotion in plenty of people.

For some, it’s just a day to celebrate the end of fall, and just treat children to festive games and goodies. For others, it’s to commemorate the passing of an important date in their religious beliefs. I can see where people are coming from on that angle. In my opinion, there’s no harm in enjoying the festive spirit (pumpkin pie yummm, and maybe dressing as chewbacca), but….dressing as giant genitalia and throwing eggs and TP-ing peoples houses just isn’t nice.

Where do you stand on this?

I’ve been “strictly told” that Halloween is “Satan’s birthday and it a bad day, therefore you must go to church and watch movies in the basement instead.” To that I say “Prove that Satan is born on October 31.” If anything, christian belief in celebrating this may be immoral because of it’s relation to pagan beliefs, but really…”Satan’s Birthday”? Following that course of logic, I should stay in the church attic during Easter because the Easter bunny is evil and chocolate eggs are evil to the Christian Easter story.
